Muay Thai is a traditional martial art from Thailand known as 'The Art of Eight Limbs' because it uses punches, kicks, elbows, and knees. This striking martial art provides excellent cardiovascular fitness and builds strength. Unlike other martial arts, Muay Thai emphasizes clinch work and is considered one of the most effective stand-up fighting systems in the world.
Our boxing classes focus on Western boxing fundamentals - punches, footwork, and head movement. Muay Thai classes include kicks, knees, elbows, and clinch work in addition to boxing techniques.
